Jörg Dörflinger is a Ph.D. student at SAP Research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tom Gross at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. The main research question of his Ph.D. concentrates on the evaluation of the most appropriate access to ICT for novice users in emerging economies in context of ICTD. Tom Gross is professor and chair of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, and Vicerector (i.e., Vice-President) of the Bauhaus-University Weimar, Germany. His research interests are particularly in the fields of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, Human-Computer Interaction, and Ubiquitous Computing. In these areas he has published numerous articles in journals, conference proceedings, books and book chapters. And he has been teaching at various universities across Europe. Gary Marsden is a professor and deputy head of the department of computer science at the University of Cape Town. He is teaching Interaction Design and computer architecture. His research is in the broad field of Human-Computer-Interaction where he is leading and active in several research projects with topics like mobile computing, mobile computing interaction, and ICTD topics like HCI methodologies for the developing world. Matt Jones is a professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Swansea University, United Kingdom. He co-authored a internationally highly recognized book on Mobile Interaction Design together with Gary Marsden. He worked on mobile interaction issues for over 10 years and has published a large number of articles in this area. Beside his contributions as guest editor to some journals he is an International Advisory Board Member of the International Journal of Mobile Human Computer Interaction and editor of Advances in Human Computer Interaction and Personal and Ubiquitous Computing. Mark Dunlop is a senior lecturer at the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, United Kingdom. His research over the last decade has focused on mobiles, in particular looking at text entry, personalization and visualization, but always with a strong experimental focus. He is an International Advisory Board Member of the International Journal of Mobile Human Computer Interaction and editor of Advances in Human Computer Interaction and Personal and Ubiquitous Computing.
